Why Copper?
Art pieces utilize copper wire to hold all the pieces and parts together. Copper wire is relatively easy to work with because of its malleability. It also has the ability to hold true for years and years in a harsh exterior environment. Copper has long been used in construction because of it's long lasting properties. It is used as high quality water lines both underground and in homes, roof flashing, roofs, and gutters.
Copper patinas into wonderful shades of greens, blues, reds, and browns without rusting away like iron will. It will not peel like metals coated in copper coloring. Instead it will slowly obtain its patina. We have a piece in our yard in Georgia that now, after 15 years in our yard, is stating to show hues of green. Near the ocean, the green can surface in a matter of weeks or even days under the right conditions.

What Adam Creates
Sculptures are created by wrapping wire in a half hitch knot around objects – many of which one would not expect to see as part of a fish or lizard.
Sculptures utilize wire, sheet metal, tubing, jewelry, bottles, vases, vintage items, stone, wood, shells, paint and other high quality materials as accents to complete the finished product.
Sculptures include all sizes of animals (fish, jellyfish, seahorses, turtles, butterflies, flying pigs, lizards, praying mantis etc.), ceiling fan pulls and more. Every item is unique. Most items are weatherproof and bug proof and will move in a breeze if hung outdoors.
